Grounded in Cambridge-informed best practices and contemporary research in science education, our expertise includes curriculum development, assessment design, teacher professional development, and instructional resource creation for K–12 and secondary education.

Where Chalkplan Began
Our Story
ChalkPlan was founded after nearly two decades of experience across classrooms, school systems, educational publishing, and large-scale education programmes. Its founder, Hiba Zeeshan, began her career as a science teacher and later served as Science Coordinator at The City School, where she trained more than 200 Cambridge Biology and Chemistry teachers and contributed to curriculum development and assessment practices aligned with international standards.
She subsequently joined the Sindh Education Foundation as a Science Subject Specialist, leading science curriculum projects, designing assessments, developing instructional resources, and facilitating professional development programmes that supported more than 100,000 students and over 600 educators across Sindh. Her work also contributed to STEM and environmental education initiatives aimed at improving science learning at scale.
Across these roles, one challenge became increasingly clear: curriculum, assessment, and teacher professional development were often designed in isolation from the realities of classroom practice.
ChalkPlan was established to bridge that gap.
Today, we partner with schools, publishers, NGOs, and education organisations to develop science curricula, design meaningful assessments, and deliver professional learning programmes that strengthen teaching quality and improve student outcomes. Grounded in evidence-based practice and Cambridge-informed principles, our work focuses exclusively on helping educators create coherent and engaging science learning experiences.
