Who we are...
Chalkplan is a specialist science education consultancy founded on a simple belief: that every student deserves a well-designed curriculum, every teacher deserves training that actually works, and every school deserves assessments that measure what truly matters.
We are not generalists. We work exclusively in science education — curriculum development, assessment design, and professional development for K-12 and secondary schools. Our work is grounded in the frameworks that international schools trust most: Cambridge IGCSE, British National Curriculum, NGSS, and Edexcel.
Where Chalkplan Began
ChalkPlan was founded after nearly two decades of working across classrooms, school systems, examination frameworks, and large-scale education programmes.
Our founder began as a science teacher and later served as Science Coordinator and Cambridge Master Trainer at The City School, where she trained more than 200 Biology and Chemistry teachers and contributed to curriculum and assessment initiatives aligned with international standards.
She later joined the Sindh Education Foundation, where she led science and STEAM education initiatives, curriculum development projects, assessment design, and teacher professional development programmes that supported over 100,000 students and more than 800 educators across Sindh.
Across these roles, one challenge recurred: schools were often expected to improve learning outcomes through curriculum documents, assessments, and teacher training programmes that were disconnected from classroom realities.
ChalkPlan was created to bridge that gap.
Today, we partner with schools, publishers, NGOs, and education organisations to design practical curriculum frameworks, meaningful assessments, and effective teacher training programmes that strengthen teaching quality and improve student learning outcomes.
